Abstract:
A classic cascade cycle with the sequential use of propane, ethylene and methane as refrigerants by sequentially reducing their boiling point. A cycle with a double refrigerant - a mixture of ethane and methane. A new method is the "combined" auto-cooling cascade cycle (ARC), in which stepwise condensation of hydrocarbons is performed using them as refrigerants in the subsequent cooling stage during the circulation of non-condensing nitrogen.
