The Polar oil and gas condensate field was chosen as the object of research. In terms of gas reserves, it belongs to the unique ones. In comparison with other large NGCM, it is compact. The area of Zapolyarnoye is 8745 hectares, length 50 km, width 30 km. The license for the development of the field belongs to Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg. Annual production is about 105 billion m3/year. According to the development project, a collector-cluster scheme was adopted to collect gas at the Zapolyarnoye field gas storage facility. In order to ensure the smooth operation of integrated gas treatment plants, timely gas supply from the bushes of gas wells to the installation is necessary, which is complicated by the formation of gas hydrates in the plumes of gas wells. A methanol solution supplied to the wellhead is used to combat the deposition of hydrates in the conditions of ZGKM. Rocks of the Mesozoic-Cenozoic sedimentary cover and Paleozoic basement take part in the geological structure of the Zapolyarny deposit.
