Relevance. Asphaltenes, resins and paraffins crystallize during transportation through the pipeline due to natural processes in the flow, which leads to their deposition in the internal cavity of the pipeline.
As oil fields are developed and operated for longer periods of time, the content of asphaltenes, resins and paraffins in the final product increases. Consequently, combating asphaltene-resin-paraffin deposits (ARPD) in the internal cavity of oil pipelines is a problem that must be solved.
