Qualitative determination of the physico-chemical properties and composition of oils is a key factor for the successful design and optimization of oil production, refining and transportation processes. Understanding these properties makes it possible to optimize technological processes, reduce production and transportation costs, and improve the quality of the resulting petroleum products. The aim of the work was to test computational methods based on mathematical modeling to determine the physico-chemical properties and composition of oils and petroleum products. The article uses a theoretical approach based on mathematical modeling. On the example of Gubkin oil from the Vygoyaginsky field. Algorithms have been developed and calculation models have been created in Mathcad software to determine the density, viscosity, sulfur content, paraffins, naphthenes and aromatic hydrocarbons in oils. The developed models allow us to determine the physico-chemical properties and composition of light Gubkin oil with high accuracy. Using special technical literature and Mathcad software, a calculation was performed to determine the physico-chemical properties and composition of oils.
