PROJECT OF AN ELECTRICAL DESALINATION PLANT (ELOU) FOR THE NEKLYUDOVSKOYE FIELD

An electrical desalting unit is a key element in the process of preparing oil for further processing. The relevance of this study is due to the need to optimize the processes of desalting and dehydration of oil at the Neklyudovskoye field, which helps reduce equipment corrosion, improve the quality of raw materials for catalytic processes and increase the efficiency of production of commercial petroleum products. The aim of the work was to design and calculate the parameters of an electrical desalting unit for oil at the Neklyudovskoye field. In the course of the study, the unit performance was calculated, the flow rate of wash water was determined, the parameters of the electrical dehydrators, heat exchanger and pumping system were calculated. The research methodology included the analysis of the physicochemical properties of oil, the use of thermodynamic models and hydraulic calculations. As a result of the study, the following key parameters were obtained: - Wash water flow rate: 5.72 - Number of electrical dehydrators: 2 units of the 2EG160 type. - Heat exchange surface: 66.3 - Pump power: 5.6, electric motor power: 7 kW. The analysis of the obtained data confirmed that the two-stage desalination system using electrical dehydrators ensures a reduction in water content to 0.2% and salts to 5 g/m³, which meets the requirements for further oil processing. The findings of the study confirm the possibility of effective use of ELOU for processing oil from the Neklyudovskoye field. The results obtained allow optimizing the desalination and dehydration processes, which helps improve oil quality and reduce operating costs.
