this paper presents an engineering calculation of the main parameters of the hydrotreatment process for diesel fuel obtained from the Arlan oil field.Based on the initial data (plant performance, raw material characteristics, required desulfurization depth), the material and thermal balance of the reactor was performed, the yield of the target product, the consumption of hydrogen and hydrogen-containing gas were determined. The key technological parameters are calculated: process temperature, catalyst volume, geometric dimensions of the reactor (diameter and height of the catalyst layer). The dependence of the temperature of the reaction mixture on the residual sulfur content is shown. The results of the work demonstrate the possibility of designing an industrial hydrotreating plant that ensures the production of diesel fuel that meets modern environmental and technological standards for sulfur content.
