The article presents the results of the calculation and design of a horizontal cylindrical tank (gas holder) with a volume of 100 m³, intended for storing oil and oil products in the conditions of the Novoportovskoye field. The design features of the tank were reviewed, including the choice of geometric parameters (diameter 4 m, length 7.95 m), material (steel grade VSt3sp5-1), and wall thickness (4 mm). Wall strength and stability tests were conducted, calculations of flat and flat-ribbed bottoms, as well as wall-bottom junctions. Particular attention is paid to the calculation of support rings, saddle supports, and welded joints. The results confirm the design´s compliance with regulatory requirements and its suitability for operation in low temperature conditions and high wind loads.
