The article presents calculations of hydraulic shock for fiberglass and steel pipelines. The paper provides a theoretical analysis of field pipelines, their accidents, as well as social responsibility, that is, the main harmful and dangerous production factors, with a detailed description of their prevention and protection from their effects on humans. Using the performed calculations of hydraulic shock for fiberglass and steel pipelines, it can be understood that fiberglass pipelines have greater resistance to dynamic loads than steel pipelines due to the elasticity of the walls of fiberglass pipelines
