CALCULATION OF THE MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE EMISSIONS OF POLLUTANTS INTO THE ATMOSPHERE AND DETERMINATION OF THE SANITARY PROTECTION ZONE OF THE ENTERPRISE ON THE EXAMPLE OF BARNAUL
In this work, the calculation of the maximum permissible emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere of Barnaul and the determination of the sanitary protection zone of the conditional enterprise was carried out. The level of atmospheric pollution in Barnaul, as in many large cities, depends not only on the amount of pollutants released into the atmospheric air, but also on the presence of unfavorable meteorological conditions – calm, temperature inversions, fogs – contributing to the accumulation of harmful impurities in the surface layer of air. Barnaul is one of the cities with a high potential for atmospheric pollution, due to the frequency of surface inversions (40-50% of days), air stagnation (10-30%), high frequency (9-13 days per month) and the duration of fogs (up to 200 hours per year). The city´s enterprises and vehicles emit up to 0.7 million tons per year into the atmosphere, including solids, carbon monoxide (up to 104 thousand tons), carbon disulfide (up to 9.9 thousand tons), hydrogen sulfide (up to 1.3 thousand tons). Significant sources of atmospheric air pollution.
