Abstract:

Deposits of high-viscosity oil and natural bitumen are considered as the most promising sources of hydrocarbons in the future. Thermal methods are the main ones in the development of these fields, but the oil recovery factor in the development from the surface is low. Of great interest is the mine method of oil production in combination with thermal methods of influencing the reservoir (thermo-mine method) in the fields of high-viscosity oil and natural bitumen. Currently, this method is used in the development of the Yaregskoye high-viscosity oil field. This is the only deposit in the world where the thermal mining method is used on an industrial scale.
