Abstract:
this paper presents a methodology for calculating the parameters of a low-temperature separator, which is a critical element in hydrocarbon feedstock treatment and processing systems. The main focus is on determining the optimal conditions for efficient phase separation at low temperatures, which helps improve the quality of the target products and enhances process efficiency at oil and gas processing plants. The aim of the study is to calculate key parameters, including gas density under operating conditions, gas flow rate, and the geometric characteristics of the separation elements. The obtained results confirm the high operational efficiency of the low-temperature separator. Furthermore, the presented data are of practical value for engineering and technical specialists involved in the design and operation of separation equipment in the oil and gas industry.
